MAT/STEP/TMUA

All Oxford Maths candidates must sit the MAT. All Cambridge Maths candidates must sit the STEP. Applicants to Warwick, King's College London, UCL, Durham, Bristol, Southampton, Sheffield, and Lancaster can optionally take it to lower their A-Level offer condition. All Imperial College London Maths candidates must sit the TMUA. Applicants to Warwick almost always sit the TMUA to avoid having to sit the STEP or accept a much harder offer. Applicants to Durham, LSE, Southampton, Sheffield, Nottingham, Lancaster, and Cardiff can optionally take it to lower their A-Level offer condition.
